Stochastic comparisons and ageing properties of an extended gamma process

Abstract Extended gamma processes have been seen as a flexible extension of standard in the recent reliability literature, for purpose cumulative deterioration modeling. The probabilistic properties process well explored since 1970s, whereas those its remain largely unexplored. In particular, stochastic comparisons between degradation levels modeled by and ageing corresponding level-crossing times are now understood. aim this paper is to explore similar extended see which ones can be broadened new context. As by-product, convolutions random variables also obtained.
